Visitor Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

The Charleston STEM Festival is a celebration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in the Lowcountry. This year’s exciting event will take place on Saturday, March 9th, 2018 from 10am-3pm at TBD, SC. The festival will feature 80 hands-on activities, live performances, interactive demonstrations, and family-oriented STEM entertainment. Check out our Facebook and Twitter pages to learn more!

Please be advised that there may be filming and photography in all areas at the event. Your entrance to this public event serves as voluntary agreement for you and your children to appear in videos or still images of the Charleston STEM Festival in the media, web sites and other social networking sites.

The festival is a FREE community event thanks to our sponsors and partners. While there is no entrance fee, some parking lots do require a fee to park. Check out our Directions & Parking page for more information on parking.

The festival is appropriate for ALL ages.

Due to the nature of the activities at the Charleston STEM Festival, pets are not allowed at the festival. Thank you for your cooperation!

Yes! Twelve local food trucks (list) will be parked at the festival. There will also be snack and ice cream vendors located throughout the festival.

Short-sleeved green t-shirts with the colorful 2018 Charleston STEM logo will be available in adult and youth sizes and for sale at the festival information tent. All t-shirts are $10 payable by cash or check only.

Charleston STEM Festival water bottles will also be for sale at the festival information tent and can be purchased for $3, cash or check only.
